Competing Interests
Competing interests can arise when authors, reviewers, or editors have financial, personal, or other relationships that may influence their work. The Turkish Journal of Sense of Place and Urban Studies is committed to ensuring the integrity of the review process and to promoting transparency.
To this end, all authors are required to declare any potential competing interests in their submitted manuscripts. Reviewers are also expected to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may impact their ability to provide an impartial evaluation of the work.
Editors will take into consideration any declared competing interests when making decisions about the publication of submitted manuscripts. In cases where a competing interest may impact the validity or interpretation of the work, editors may request additional information, seek additional opinions, or reject the submission.
By promoting transparency and taking potential conflicts of interest into consideration, the Turkish Journal of Sense of Place and Urban Studies ensures the integrity and reliability of the published research.
